I was so ready to read this book. The synopses and first impression left me on the edge of my seat.
I get about half way through and I find myself skimming, not being able to fully get into the book. I've set the book down, read something else and then went back to this book. Still a few pages in and I just can't keep glued to the story. A lot of detail, the character goes to explain something and then tells a whole story. It's like my husband trying to teach me Spanish. Just can't do it.
I don't want to have to push myself to finish because I really won't fully get the the book. Skimming isn't usually my thing and I truly wanted to read this book. I'll have to come back to it again at a later time.
