This book started off well. The case was interesting. The whole book was a slow build towards the end. There were moments in the middle where I was confused about where it was going. The author seemed to get lost in Jarsdel’s personal life but by the end it all made sense. Jarsdel himself was a great character. I hope we get more books about him. Morales too. The writing was spot on. I had to stop a few times to think, ‘Who writes a sentence like that?’ It was amazing. I am officially jealous. The technology and police work and general knowledge in the book shows the author has done his research. I was very impressed. It made the book stand out. Over all, I recommend this book for any crime fiction lover.
