This book sounds fascinating. I love LA as the back drop for dark crime novels. It always reminds me of a black dahlia-esq atmosphere if that makes sense. I also enjoy a character who's career wasnt always in law enforcement--- which always gives me a dan brown vibe. The plot sounds great and sounds like another thriller right up my alley
