Wow that beginning with the coyote and the dead body on top of the specific crime scene is certainly twisted! Usually absolutely inhale these type of mysteries/crime novels and it does sound very interesting, just not sure if I really care for the characters so far. Possible they grow on me. Did like a lot of the descriptive writing but also a bit too much info in spots...
