Apparently a human size oven exists somewhere in Los Angeles, because a body has been reported that's been cooked to a high temperature has no signs of being in a confined space or any grill marks. It's also been used as a coyote chew toy after being dumped near a statue of a benevolent Hindu deity. Unfortunately for the detectives working the case their eyewitness didn't see much and there's no cameras that captured the body dump. It's an interesting start to a crime procedural, but the writings a little high on technical details and a little lacking on storytelling.
