Detective novels never hold my interest, and unfortunately, this book was more of the same. Even in the first look, I found my eyes glazing over and skimming paragraphs. Something about this part of the mystery genre just holds no appeal for me. The cover is gorgeous, and the writing is good...but I would recommend this to detective-novel fanatics over myself, to be honest.
