I love crime procedurals, so as soon as I read the blurb I was hooked. The writing in the first couple pages was enough to convince me that this would be more than just the typical cop story, particularly considering Tully’s background. I loved the fresh new take on a pretty standard crime novel, this is definitely something I’m excited to read!
