The truth is that crime, especially contemporary, isn't my favourite book genre. That's because in the majority of this type of books the story unravels really slowly. But this book wasn't the case.
I liked it mostly because of it. The story begins immediately and you don't have to read one hundred pages until something happens. I also find the author's idea really genuine. Gruesome maybe, but genuine. Last but not least, the fact that the cop investigating the crime isn't just a cold, calculating machine, but a man who tries to do his best hoping for a better, unspoiled world, makes him a really interesting protagonist.
