First off, I LOVE the cover. It took me a couple pages to get into it, but so far I am enjoying the writing style. It's descriptive enough to build a vivid picture, but not overly wordy, so the author seems to have a good balance. It's not a long enough clip to determine if I like the characters, but I'm intrigued enough to keep reading!
