This is a fast paced detective mystery with lots going on to make the reader curious. There’s mystery concerning the charred, baked body that was found. What kind of person could have committed such a horrible deed? There’s tension between the two partners, Morales and Jarsdel. Will they be able to work together to solve the crime? Tully Jarsdel seems to be a person committed to doing positive things in his life. It appears he will be a person the reader will champion as he works through the case. I think this is a book many will enjoy.
