Yesss this book seems like a very excellent police procedural, and I am ready for it! If you are old, like me, you might remember the short lived Los Angeles version of Law and Order. It was... not great. This reads like what Law and Order: Los Angeles should have been. This excerpt basically follows the same basic format of a Law and Order episode: out on a morning "run", someone discovers a body. Police arrive and develop some ideas based on the body. First interview of person who found body happens. I can't wait to see what happens!
