I love how descriptive it is without seeming too slow. I'm not the biggest fan of police procedurals but the synopsis promises a lot in terms of our lead detective and I'm looking forward to seeing if it delivers. It's a lot of dialogue and action upfront so I don't feel entirely pulled in yet but it was getting me a bit more toward the end. The cover is eye-catching and gorgeous which is an interesting juxtaposition given the topic.
