I like the premise of 'Hollywood meets Detective Thriller'. Right away, this one captures your attention. The author wastes no time setting up the crime for us. I am eager to see how it pans out...mystery/thrillers have to meet a high bar now, since they're so prevalent. I am always looking for a book in this genre that feels fresh and different.
