Detective Tully Jarsdel uses his ex-academia background in his current LAPD profession. This story has vibes of James Patterson's Instinct series but I have hopes that it will still be enjoyable. It sounds like it will be a gritty mystery with a great protagonist. I love the colors on the cover- very eye catching!
