I liked that this was a gritty crime read, but not too gritty. It seemed extremely realistic so far and I think the main character was likable. There is really great detail on both the surroundings/story and the crime and I like that the pov is from the detective's view and that he kind of talks everything through and explains his thoughts to the reader. This seems like it's going to be a good book!
