Don't let the bright cover fool you - dark themed detective crime thriller!

The bright and happy cover to this novel is in direct contradiction of the subject matter. This book opens the scenery with a roughed up coyote finding a meal within the city...a corpse. I loved the graphic details and the method for which the author draws the reader into this pivotal scene. Dark and twisty, it appears to be an enjoyable detective thriller!
