Bone Chilling Terror- What a Page-Turner Book!

Some stories/movies are scary while some create a terror deep within the reader/viewer that causes the heart to pump faster (or let out a scream in a theater even though you think you're too old to be screaming.) The latter is what I felt as I read the first sample chapter of ONE DAY YOU'LL BURN. The horror of what the former person (now a charred corpse) endured prior to death was such a shocking and gruesome description that it was frightening to even read. Talk about nightmares! The Los Angeles setting adds extra intrigue - a 24/7 mega city whose L.A. county lines sprawl so far that many residents of other cities and towns within the county line respond that they are from Los Angeles when asked. The possibilities for anonymity are multiplied by the rich diversity of race and religion that make up the population. This book captures that setting and weaves it into the complexity of this crime. Wow; I can't wait to read the rest of the book!
