The detailed description of the gruesome murder at the center of this novel grips the reader from the first page, but I am equally as interested in delving deeper into the clashing personalities and working relationship of the two detectives assigned the case. This book seems to have it all: a compelling mystery to solve and interesting characters whose backgrounds might make it difficult to work together to find the killer. I cannot wait to see where this story goes!
