This book is exactly up my ally! Village life, a full cast of interesting & dynamic characters, mysterious shifty behavior, murder and a bright, determined, clever heroine! I'm all in on this one. Its also such an unusual set up for a WWII novel with Olive caring for pigeons. Its an unusual angle and I can appreciate that!
The novel has a good feel to it, I really enjoyed reading the first look and cannot wait for it to come out!
