I do like the cover, it pulled me in with the pigeon and airplanes on the front. As for my first impression, I love how realistic everything is. The characters talk and act real, and the surroundings are described the same. The humor is easy to understand for people in our time. While it also sounds like it is from the time period the novel is set in. I want to read more, because I am curious about the romance in the novel, and the mystery part sounds intriguing.
