I can tell just from the description and a handful of pages, this is going to be a very popular read with the elderly population. That isn’t a dig on the book, but I work at a library and this is the exact kind of mystery novel I see being placed on hold and returned day after day. It’s not my cup of tea because I don’t like historical novels, but the writing and synopsis alone are set to make this a future hit.
