I read a lot of World War II-era stories, and this one certainly has a different angle than I've ever read in the past. That said, I'm not sure how I feel about the book, as I'm not all that interested in pigeons. The cover is a perfect complement for the summary and sample. I like the fact that there's a mystery component, as well. I love the extras included. This seems like a good start to a new series.
