I recognize that 'pigeoneer" is in the title of this book, but I guess I didn't think through what that meant, because I was shocked by the pigeon in the first couple of pages. I can tell the author did a lot of research on pigeons to write this book and I appreciate it. I am so interested to see what they can do and I am already connecting with the characters in the story. I this this book has a strong start and a promise of a satisfying tale.
