The character of Olive captured me right away. She seems fiesty and smart, like she knows what she wants to do and she isn't going to let anyone stand in her way. It will be interesting to see what becomes of Olive and her birds as they get involved not only with the war but with murder also. A very interesting twist on the usual WWII historical fiction novel.
