This book looks so very interesting and is close to home for me. Not that we had homing pigeons but we did have pigeons in our barn growing up. I also remember those baskets on our bikes growing up. My Dad served in WWII so books of that era are so interesting to me, not just because he served, but because my Mom was waiting at home for his return and I have seen pictures of her and her twin sister in clothing much like the gal on the cover o fthis book are wearing. I have decided to branch out on reading books of different styles, used to be mainly a Dean Koontz or Stephen King fan and still am. But I have found other worlds to escape to in reading other authors.
