I love a good Historical Fiction novel. This has it all, mystery, intrigue, pigeons which were a huge asset to send coded messages back and forth during the war. This is my favorite genre so I’m very intrigued. The cover draws you in and gives you her perspective of what she must have felt when she first arrived in Pipley.
