Historical fiction is so interesting!

I really enjoyed "Book Woman of Troublesome Creek" last year, a book about librarians who rode on horseback into the rural mountains of Appalachia. Bright Pigeoneer reminds me of that time a bit, with a different storyline but a similar appeal.
