Now That I've Found You is a sweet novel about a young girl who believes her life is falling down around her as she goes on a search for her missing Grandmother. On the journey she gets reacquainted with herself and the woman she aspires to be.
There is a romantic storyline, but it takes a backseat to the primary plot of the book rather than it being the most important point. Evie is dealing with much bigger issue with her Grandmother having essentially running away and trying to put her career back together after a very public misstep, subsequent firing, and dealing with the fallout from her supposed best friend.
The book takes you all over New York City, but not quite the love letter to the city I hoped it would be. More of a taste that makes you miss the real thing all the more. The book is a quick and easy read, with a sense of being along for the ride.
