A must read YA contemporary romance!
I loved Kristina's 2019 debut, I Wanna Be Where You Are, and was so excited for her sophomore novel. It was everything I wanted and more!
18 year-old Evie is an up-and-coming actress following in the footsteps of her grandma Gigi--also known as the super famous actress Evelyn Conaway. But after being betrayed by her supposed best friend, Evie's blacklisted. She's got a plan to get her acting career back on track, and it involves Gigi, who hasn't made a public appearance in years. When Gigi disappears, Evie has no choice but to embark on a journey all over NYC, with the help of Milo, a cute young musician who happens to have been the last person to see Gigi.
I absolutely adored this YA contemporary romance about figuring out what you want, following your dreams, first love, and an eccentric grandma! This was just as magical, fun, and adventure-filled as I Wanna Be Where You Are. I can't wait to recommend this one to my teen book club at my library!
