I was drawn to this book by the cover, but I must say that I'm not very excited by the excerpt. I feel more drawn by the plot rather than the main character, which is not exactly good because following a plot without caring for the character tends to get boring. I found every scene predictable, but I am interested to see how this plot plays out.
