I was hesitant about this book when it comes to the stardom and romantic aspects but the part of the summary about the mystery of Evie's grandma's disappearance had me ready to dive into something I could potentially be really into. Unfortunately, these first couple pages haven't really done anything for me even though it's possible the really gripping stuff will happen further into the novel. I just can't say I'm super impressed at this point. If the opportunity arose for some reason I would read this book but I wouldn't buy it based off of this first look.
