I thought the writing and the characters were pretty good in this first impression, but I thought the plot was a little too contrived for my taste. That being said the overall description and the press clippings interspersed throughout sort of remind me of like a YA take on The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, which I did really enjoy so it may be worth the read.
