The cover is cute, but I felt the premise and the except are too steroetypical YA romance. I was immediately turned off by the "clippings," one of which opens the book to provide background details. When done well, things like newspaper clippings can work with a story. But I'm not sure that's the case here—it felt more like a cheap and easy way to get some background out and the plot quickly moved. I get that it fits in with the whole Hollywood plotline, but it just didn't gel for me. I'm clearly not the target audience and I probably won't read it.
