It's a good start

I like the author's writing style. She drew me in and held me as I read. I could see the events unfolding as I progressed through the story. The words didn't get in the way.
The friend's betray was predictable. Not much of a twist, if it was meant to be one. I do kind of wish that instead of the seeing the morning after, when the video was released and everything came crashing down, through flashbacks that instead the reader had been there in that moment with Evie. That the reader had been able to feel all of those emotions and chaos and loss with her. Then the story had sped forward to her traveling to New York in an attempt to resurrect her fledging career.
