This book starts out with an article on a famous actress, then cuts to her granddaughter, Evie, who is a rising star in her own right. Her future goes down the drain when Evie's best friend leaks a video that causes Evie to get fired by a big director while she swoops in to take the role. I literally gasped because I couldn't believe the betrayal!
