I enjoyed the feeling of flashing lights and celebrity tabloids that the initial article set up before we met Evie, who complements this Hollywood aura by appearing very down to earth. The author has to balance the trope of a child star with a protagonist we'd want to read about for a whole book, and achieves that! I love the book starting with a "happy ending" and working back from there. Milo's introduction is appropriately confusing (the reader feels the same way Evie does). The foreshadowing of the conflict with James Jenkins definitely has me curious of what's to come. And I love the cover - love the digital art style for YA fiction.
