This book is a historical romance that will end up becoming a series. This is not a book or genre that I typically gravitate towards but after reading it I did enjoy it. I enjoyed the character, story, and style of writing. I liked the backstory of the characters and the amount of information that was given in their past. Overall, I did enjoy Drusilla and Gabriel’s story and romance that they had. The chemistry that they had was felt and so was their live for each other. I liked all the romance troupes that were incorporated that added to the story plot and personally allowed me to enjoy the story more. At first I was conflicted over Drusilla and Gabriel’s characters as they did react or do such things that I personally saw as uninteresting, but they did redeem themselves at the end for me. I did enjoy I am looking forward to the rest books of the series and reading more books by the author.
