This book wasn’t at all what I expected. But it was pretty good. For me the beginning was very dense and hard to get through. And the ending seemed rushed. I liked the middle but found it lacking of something more interesting.
The ending was full of rushed action that could have been stretched out with more story to it. I was hoping to see more than Dru and Gabe’s love story. But wasn’t given any action until the end and even that wasn’t very interesting. It didn’t hook me at all.
The handoff between Drusilla and Gabe was interesting since it gave us a look at both sides of the story. It was nice to see how both sides looked at an argument or a situation. Giving us the emotions and thoughts of both characters.
