I enjoyed it significantly more than I expected. It was a an extremely witty novelw with likeable charecters. It's not your average stereotypical romance. As bad it may seem, I'm a huge sucker for marriage for convenience turned love stories and this one really delivered. Whil I was initially annoyed by the charecters, there was a significant amount of charecter development. What really got me was how realistic the story was. I also reallly enjoyed the writing style, it was extremely well written and I seldom cringed at things that the charecters said or did. I've always really enjoyed Minerva Spencers books and this book just reaffirmed that admiration. The writing style was extremely engaging and very interesting. Overall it was a really solid read and I would reccomend giving it a shot for anyone on the fence about reading it.
