The excerpt of Notorious by Minerva Spencer is a Regency Romance with sharp and humorous dialogue. The two main women characters, Eva and Drusilla, are smart and outspoken friends, and I liked how they cared for one another. Eva’s affection for her step-brother, Gabriel, was very sweet, and Drusilla’s conflicting feelings for Gabriel made for an enjoyable read. This is sure to develop into a love story between Gabriel and Drusilla, and I look forward to reading more.
