The cover draws me in from the outset, with its use of a simple silhouette and the pretty, unique flowers over the top. It implies something innocent in appearance but complex in actuality, which is the type of read I most enjoy. Plus, I'm a fan of historical fiction / period romances, so this one just appeals to me right off the bat. The writing style is casual and natural and had me wishing I had more than the sample available to read. Looking forward to this one!
