Minerva Spencer is a first time hear as an author for me. I don't read a lot of historical fiction, but sometimes it catches my eye and then I like to take a chance. The cover is beautiful and very eye catching, and this sounds from the synopsis and first look to be an interesting, witty, strong willed yet subtle woman as a strong character lead. I would give this a chance!
