This is the sort of novel take on the Regency era that I never knew I needed until now. The gorgeous cover, reminiscent of clothbound classics, was more than enough to pull me in. But then when I saw the promise of headstrong, independent girls making their own way in a time when they were often stifled, I knew this one needed to be immediately added to my to be read list.
