But what kept me reading and has me intrigued is the little hints and glimpses we get into Dru and Gabe's backgrounds and where they're heading. There are so many great directions the plot can take after what happens in the first preview chapters, that I'm intrigued to both see where Spencer takes it and how well it's executed.
