Drusilla Clare, a wallflower with a mind of her own, quickly gets into a compromising situation with Gabriel Marlington, a breath taking Corinthian who is certainly going to feel honor bound to offer for her hand. He could have had his pick of the current London season's beauties, but he will have to settle for the tart tongued Drusilla instead. She already fights an unwelcome passion for him and he already enjoys sparring with her sharp wit. It can only get more interesting when the two are forced into marriage to save her reputation which is so all important in convention bound Regency England.
