God, the writing is fantastic, and I want so badly to read something like this, but I cannot because it’s a period romance. I have tried so hard to read historical and period romances but I cannot get into them. But that’s a problem with me. Please give this book a shot if you are fine with reading period romances, the writing is great and the lead is a strong female character.
