Right when I read the plot, I knew this would be a very interesting book. Historical fiction is becoming one of my favorite genres and it seems like this book would add a different twist to the ones I have been reading. I love the Victorian style of the book. The vivid details allow you to immerse yourself in this historical world. I love the easy way the characters interact with each other. It feels very natural and flows very well. I can tell that with this book you will become deeply involved with the characters understanding their feeling because you will feel them yourself. I also enjoyed the humor, the type where it takes you a moment but then you get it. And the playful bickering adds even more to the humor that makes you smile and laugh. All the characters and very witty and come up with quick comebacks in their conversations. A great plot and character foundation. I can’t wait to read more.
