A strong female protagonist, a handsome rogue who may be more complex than his outward appearance suggests, witty banter, and a hint of enemies-to-lovers romance, all set against a Regency backdrop...this book is right up my alley! The cover is simple but lovely and fits the story so far. The excerpt has left me wanting to know more about this cast of characters and to see where this story leads. I love historical fiction and have recently been exploring the romance genre as well--this book seems like it may marry the two, so this is definitely a book that I would want to read. Here's hoping I win a copy!
