A devilishly handsome bad boy spars with a sassy, witty independent woman, but Victorian English style. I haven't read this type of book in quite some time, but I was drawn back to what I used to love about this genre with the witty repartee between the two main characters. There was a hint of mystery, a splash of sexual tension, a shot of machismo, and classic themes of how wealth, beauty, and obedience ruled the ballrooms of the Ton in Victorian times.
This book sounds like a fun adventure and romance rolled together and I would love to delve further into the secrets of each of the characters and the inevitable chemistry of Gabe and Dru.
