I’m usually not a fan of period pieces so I was a little hesitant to read the first look but I’m glad I did! I’m a sucker for headstrong characters who end up loving each other and also a protective, not possessive male hooks me as well! The book has wonderful details so fair and the writing flows nicely. I’m personally not a big fan of the plain-ish cover, but you can’t judge it strictly on that!
